Ever wonder how a house plan is created? Here’s an example that shows how much work can go into designing just the exterior of a home.

In this example, we created a plan for a remodel. After the exterior of the house plan was created, the builder questioned how much detail really needed to be there to make the house look right - that got the homeowner wondering too.

So we found out. We removed every single embellishment, practically one-by-one, taking the home down to the basic parts. Then they were able to decide which details were important to them.
